FAQ

Q: How far in advance should I order my cake?

Because of the care and attention to detail that go into our cakes and desserts we take a limited amount of cakes per week. If you are planning your wedding between May-October, I recommend securing your wedding date at least 6 months in advance. That is peak wedding season and those dates tend to fill up quickly.

Q: How do I place an order?

To get started click on the Let's Chat button and send us a request. Once I receive that request, I will contact you with availability and schedule a phone consultation to go over all the details of your event.

Q: Can I pick more than one flavor?

Yes. The size of your cake will determine how many flavors/fillings you can choose for your cake. During the initial phone consultation I will go over all the different options with you. Typically you choose 1 flavor for 1-2 tiered cakes, 2 flavors for 3 tiered cakes, 3 flavors for 4 tiered cakes.

Q: Do you offer tastings?

Yes. Cake tastings are by appointment only. Please refer to our tasting page for more information.

Q: Are you an allergy free kitchen?

NO. We are NOT allergy free. This means we work in a kitchen that uses gluten, soy, sugar, wheat, dairy and nut products. Even if your cake does not contain them, we can not guarantee no cross contamination. If you are needing an allergy free cake we recommend you ordering from a bakery that specializes in allergy free cakes.

Q: Do you offer both buttercream and fondant cakes?

Yes. We do have a few buttercream designs that we offer, but fondant is our specialty. Our fondant is homemade and tasty. All of our cakes are frosted with our delicious buttercream before covered in a thin layer of fondant. Still not a fan of fondant?, No worries. It's so easy to just peel off and enjoy your delicious slice.

Q: Can you replicate another cake exactly?

No. However, if you have inspirational photos we will use them for reference to create something inspired by the cake you love while also creating something beautiful and unique just for you. Cake artist put a lot of work and creativity into their designs and it is impossible to replicate that exactly. I do my best work with a little creative freedom. Please note that due to copyright laws we do not offer character cakes.

Q: How much do your cakes cost?

Each cake is custom designed for the individual client and start at $550. Final price is based upon the number of servings, complexity of design, & final details. Click on the Let’s Chat page and send us a request. In order to give you an accurate quote please be as detailed as possible when filling out the request form.

Q. Do you offer dessert bars?

Yes! We make a variety of bite size desserts including our most popular item, our cake pops. Click on the dessert tab to view some of our tasty treats.

Q: Do you require a deposit?

Yes. In order to reserve your date, an initial non-refundable retainer is required. Once the deposit is paid your date will be secured, and at that time I will turn down other potential bookings for that day. It also allows me to purchase any needed materials and ingredients in advance for your order. Due to limited availability we recommend paying your deposit immediately. Your order is not confirmed until the deposit is paid. The non-refundable deposit is dependent on the estimated cost of your cake.

Q: Do you deliver?

Yes. We deliver all through out Utah and surrounding areas. The delivery fee is contingent on the distance of location and set up time.

Q: Do you provide the cake flowers?

No. All cake flowers need to be ordered through your florist. This is the easiest way to ensure that your cake flowers match the rest of your event and save on cost.

Q: Do you provide the cake stand?

Yes upon request. If you are needing a cake/dessert stand for your event please ask about our rental options. We have a variety to choose from and can help recommend which one will best fit your size & design.

Q: Do you offer faux cakes?

Yes. Faux cakes/tiers are a great option when you don't need as many servings as your design requires or if you are not planning on serving cake to your guests. If you are wanting a 4 tier cake but only need 50 servings this option will help with wasted cake and cost.
